Why upgrade to a VFD panel

Old contactor panels start and stop the motor at full speed every time. That jerks the load, wears the brakes and gearbox and draws heavy starting current. A variable frequency drive (VFD) starts and stops the crane smoothly and lets the operator place loads precisely.
